Join homestead hobbyist Elizabeth Jones of The Fresh Jam in crafting a simple and relaxing Rosemary Mint soap using a variety of basic soapmaking techniques.  Students will participate in this hands-on kitchen experiment and take home a sample of the soap to see the results of their work.  Topics discussed during the session will include: kitchen chemistry, lab safety, equipment basics, calculating recipes, sourcing ingredients (oils/scents/herbs/exfoliants), soap on the cheap, benefits of handmade soap.
