Join veteran soap maker Paul Sandstrom of Spotted Salamander Soap and learn how to make your own natural soaps. This is a hands-on class involving participants in the process of making soap.

Paul will cover: chemistry of soap ingredients-oils, scents, herbs, exfoliants, safety of lye use, equipment basics, calculations, benefits of handmade soaps.

Participants should bring a 1/2 gal milk or juice container for pouring soap to take home.
