About the event

Join local naturalist Laura Doyle for a walk in the ravine! Wear sturdy water shoes or rain boots and be prepared some steep and possibly slippery terrain. We will leave City Folks and cross High Street and walk to Old Beechwold ravine where we'll see many spring blooming wildflowers and other plants. We'll talk about edible plants, plants used in folk medicine, and and native vs alien species. We may have a look at some interesting rock formations and might even see some wildlife as we make our way towards the Olentangy River before heading back to City Folks. The cost is $20. Field guides will be available for purchase at City Folks.
